Chestnut Garth Premium Chardonnay Yeilding less than 4 tonnes per acre, our Chardonnay is hand picked at 13 degrees baume in April. March and April in Orange are cool and dry which allows the sugar levels to rise slowly and the fruit flavours to intensify. This Chardonnay displays medium gold colour with traces of green, is complex whilst showing elegant cool climate melon fruit characteristics and long fine balanced finish. Premium Cabernet Sauvignon Aged for two years prior to release our Cabernet Sauvignon is a pleasure to drink. It is incredibly smooth given the robust flavours of the fruit. Having been picked in May the grapes were allowed to ripen fully giving rise to a 13.5% alc. Vol. Andrew Ewert chose to age the Cabernet Sauvignon in new, 1,2 and 3 year old french oak hogsheads. This has resulted in beautifully integrated oak characteristics. A medium bodied wine showing black currant and mint integrated well with cinnamon-like oak. The palate is lightly structured with firm tannins providing good structure and length. Priced at $25.00 a bottle and $300.00 a case. |

Jules* - Shiraz/Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine has deep rich red colours with striking intensity. The aroma is a complex mixture of coffee, spice and smoky oak notes layered on strong black fruit aromas.
