The Bud Burst dozen for our MOO Club members will be dispatched in September just as the new wooly buds are preparing to burst into life for the new season.

Our theme this budburst is “comparisons”.

You will receive:

Chestnut Garth Chardonnay: 1x 2007, 1x2008, 1x2009. Compare the subtle differences stemming from the seasonal influences and our introduction of one Hungarian Oak puncheon which gives a toasty, nutty character on a creamy palate of tropical fruit.

Chestnut Garth Cabernet Sauvignon: 1x2008 with masses of violets on the nose and rich black plum over cinnamon oak across the palate. We have retired this wine for further ageing just for MOO Club Members. 1x2009 has slightly greener characters with mint and eucalypt aromas. Rich black currant and cassis on the palate showing a little more acid than the 2008 which guarantees it will age for 10 to 15 years.

Jules 2005: With cork closure it has developed into a truly sensational wine but will continue to age well for another 10 years. Again we have retired this just for MOO members. You can purchase 6 bottles only at $60 per bottle if you decide you LOVE it like we do.

Jules 2009: Pre-release we are bottling this in a week so we will hold it for a month to avert bottle trauma. On the bench it shows all the hallmarks of 2005 and 2006. We chose not to make 2007 or 2008 so this wine is much anticipated.

Autumn Shiraz 2008: Gold medal winner at the Orange Wine show in 2010. 3 bottles.

Autumn Sauvignon Blanc 2011: The current vintage is brilliantly bright and zesty perfect for the upcoming seafood season. The cost is $288.50 saving $60 

BONUS: All existing members will receive one FREE bottle of the brand new 2010 Brothers for Life (BFL) Pinot Noir as a gift from Mortimers. It’s just a thank you for being a member.

All new members will receive the same with their new membership form.
