With the extended daylight saving hours and the warm weather promised in October, Wineweek this year looks to be a treat.
Orange is a busy city during wineweek with the restaurants and cellars doors in full swing. There are events every day from Friday, 21st October with the public wine tasting @ Orange Showground, finishing on the 28th October with Cellar Doors @ Cook Park on the Sunday.
Our cellar door will be open all week for tastings and light luncheons. We have Pete’s pesto pasta available, as well as ploughmans and cheese platters. Come and enjoy the sunshine, art and photography on display – and of course a glass of our wine. Coffee and cake also available.
Hours: Monday – Sunday 11 am – 5 pm.
We will also be participating the Night Markets @Robertson Park. This is a family event where we attract over 3 thousand people. All the cellar doors in Orange are housed in stalls conducting winetastings and finger food is also available. Taste Orange have had to move the event several times due to its popularity but Robertson Park has worked wonderfully with fairy lights amongst the beautiful established trees. Starts from 5.30 pm.
Our main event this year is again the very popular DAY ON THE RED (white wine and beer available!). Saturday 29th October from 11 am.
Live music starts from 1 pm. It is a very relaxed day with our visitors and regulars usually bringing a picnic rug and hamper. No BYO alcohol as we are licensed and sell beer, wine and a selection of spirits. There will also be some food available and coffee and a selection of cakes as well.
Early arrivers will be able to snag a table and chairs but be advised we do run out and there are no reservations.
